The two most typical problems with not being able to host on warcraft is Firewalls and routers. Both of these sometimes block information being sent to servers and other users (hense the inability to host ). If you do not have a router but have a firewall the best method would be to make an exception for warcraft (can be found in firewall options). To put warcraft 3 as a exception you need to browse and find the file war3.exe and select that. If warcraft still doesnt let you host even if it is counted as an exception the best bet would be to just turn your firewall off . If you have a router then the chances are it will stop you being able to host. All you need to do is find the model name of your router and who made it then just go to www.portforward.com and that will guide you through the process of opening ports(which will allow you to host). Gl and i hope this helped a bit.

or you can go in your router, which is kind of like an ip address but it isnt, and search for a "Virtual Server" feature or something like that and add your ip address and warcraft, and your warcraft 3 port.
"often 6112 or 6113"
